The vehicle that pushed a rebrand for Union City Electric was the change of their name and shift into a competitive market place. In the design brief, the identity system needed be functional with their existing and new services. Union City Electric looked to give their coverage area not only electricity, but they moved into the world of fiber internet and telephone services. We developed a visual communication that could be implemented across many platforms. From an electric bill to a utility truck, Pantone Solid Coated 7583 is the universal color that represents the Union City Energy Authority in every context. The mark pays homage to their roots, but helps push their message and service in a new light.
